Pepper Market Review week 45 2021

Week 45 witnessed sharp increase in pepper Prices in India which has been the highest in the world for years with the onset of grinding and festival season .Farm gate pepper which opened at USD 6075 on Monday moved up to
USD 6750 at close of the week.
But Prices in Brazil Indonesia and Vietnam  were drifting a bit lower as buyers were absent for most part of the week as we are coming closer to the end of last last quarter of the year. No respite in Ocean freight seems to be happening any time soon .Both  Indian   and Vietnam   Crop is estimated to be lower and late and hence buyers are advised to be Cautious and stay covered till first quarter 2022
