Pepper Prices surges across origins as Trump Pauses on Tariff

Pepper Prices across all origins started moving up after Trump applied the pause button on Tariffs.Brazil moved their prices to USD 7000 for Sun Dried B1 for shipments in May/June and Indonesian Crop is nearly finished very few sellers were indicating US$ 7900
FOB and most were asking to wait for new crop 2025 to buy at reasonable Prices .India continues to lead the parade with USD 8800 FOB Cochin for it’s MG-1 Asta .

Vietnam slowly recovering from the Tariff shock have gained 50% Losses and the local farmers and collectors feel market will move up drastically
after the May Day Holidays as the harvest is coming to a close by end of this month .Farmers prefer to keep their harvest with them and stopped the practice of depositing with local collectors with the bad experience of losing entire stocks with collectors becoming bankrupt.
