Vietnam Pepper exports breaches 1 Billion Dollars

From January through August 2025, Vietnam exported pepper valued at $1.06 billion, totaling 166,000 metric tons. This volume comprised 143,000 metric tons of black pepper and 23,000 metric tons of white pepper. To support these exports, Vietnam imported 18,000 metric tons from Brazil, 9,000 metric tons from Cambodia, and 7,000 metric tons from Indonesia. Black pepper prices closed slightly lower today, despite strong export figures for the first 15 days of July. Exports totaled 10,000 metric tons during this period, bringing the total from January 1st to July 15th, 2025, to 135,000 metric tons.
