Vietnam’s pepper production is expected to decrease or remain stable at around 180,000 metric tons, supporting export prices.

Global demand for pepper is projected to remain steady, with a slight increase expected in 3 rd and 4 th Quarter of 2025.
*Competition*: Vietnam faces competition from other major pepper-producing countries like Brazil and Indonesia.Brazil exports in the first 5 months was 44000 mt and Vietnam remained their major destination and Indonesia exported 18000 mts in the first 5 months and again Vietnam continue to be the major importer
