Brazil Indonesia Vietnam Pepper Prices seen Consolidating but Indian Pepper Prices seen falling like 9 Pins in Week 10
Pepper Prices in major producing origins seen consolidating except in India where prices where continuously falling due to lack of demand with Elections at door step and harvesting at its peak. Brazil and Indonesia closely following Vietnam prices and currently there is no incentive for Importers in Vietnam to hedge their sales and has to depend entirely on Vietnam

origin to fulfil their commitments and at current rate Vietnam pepper will be sold out much earlier than last year even if China is not participating this year.Chinese importers say Vietnam pepper is available at much cheaper prices in China from their last year imports of 85000 mts from Vietnam ( 60,000 mt through sea and 25000 mt through border trade)

The United States is the largest export market of Vietnamese pepper reaching 8,754 tons, accounting for 28.1% and increasing 23.3% over the same period. Meanwhile, exports to China decreased by 92.0% to just 816 tons.
Robust demand will keep prices steady to firm in the coming months as farmers are fetching historic high prices for their inter crop coffee which makes them adopt the staggered selling strategy which will fetch them their target prices.
