Prices in Vietnam as well as Brazil was firmer before they closed for Lunar New Year Holidays and annual Carnival In Brazil . In the month of January Vietnam imported 2501 mts of pepper mostly from Brazil and Vietnam  exported 17537 metric tons in the month of January 2024 .Compared to previous years local dealers were not willing

to take positions for deliveries after Lunar New Year Holidays .Flushed with funds from coffee trade this season farmers will sell the usual 30% of harvest this year is one of the important thing we are looking forward to and Chinese traders coming back to the market after Chinese New Year after a gap of five months
